If you are looking for something a little more hip than his & hers towels, check out these dope new Mod sets.
With love in the air, what better way to kick off the week than with a few of our favorite couples? In no particular order here are some fun sweethearts.
Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head
These guys have been going strong since their introduction in the 1950’s. One of the things that’s pretty cool about this couple is that they are interchangeable so they really keep things fresh. Sometimes things can get stale after a while, but since they can mix and match it helps things remain interesting. Mr. Potato Head was also the first toy to be advertised on TV and who can complain about getting a little time in the spotlight.
Ken & Barbie
Its hard to talk about iconic couples without bringing up Ken and Barbie. They started dating back in 1961 and things were going great until 2004 when they took a break. They were just friends for a couple years, until Valentine’s Day in 2011 when they finally got back together. And in case you are wondering, they even changed their status to “In a Relationship” on Facebook, because if it’s not on Facebook it didn’t happen. Barbie has said her favorite dates with Ken are on the beach in Malibu. Now this is a match made to last in plastic heaven.
Popeye & Olive Oyl
Another lasting love story, Popeye and Olive Oyl first made their debut back in the late 1920’s. Their story was so captivating, that they have been featured in print and on screen ever since. Popeye is determined to overcome whatever obstacles are in his way to make Olive Oyl happy. Eat your spinach and you too can be just as happy in love!
Mickey & Minnie Mouse
Continuing on with couples who have made it through the decades, who can forget Mickey and Minnie. Like Popeye & Olive Oyl, these two have been around since the 1920’s. And they just go to show that you can still have a successful relationship while under the Hollywood Lights. Mickey even has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Happy heart day to you and yours!
