Amy Lau joins the Modify team
Editor’s Note: Amy Lau is our newest intern. She’s awesome. Hear what she has to say below!!
I have just finished my third week at Modify Watches, and I have to say that I have been loving it here! Everyone is so nice and cool and it really has the best working environment I have ever seen. I love how everyone supports each other in any way possible. If you follow Modify on Facebook, you would have seen that they so sweetly (literally) bought cupcakes to celebrate my birthday^^
That made me very surprised and super duper delighted because I love sweets and I didn’t actually tell anyone except Jae that my birthday was coming up, so it was a very pleasant surprise. I also love what the company does; Modify basically makes your dream custom watch.
So far, I have been assembling watches with Jae, did some packaging and helped with the shipping process, and I really like how organized everything is. I’m able to find things easily since Modify is still a startup, and instructions are not that difficult to follow:)
I really like looking at all the watch faces, and the only thing that I can say that I do not like is Dust. Dust is the enemy. I absolutely loathe it. However, it isn’t too difficult to get rid of thanks to our trusty Air in a Can.
It’s just when I miss that little speck of Dust, I get kind of mad because that means we have to take it apart and redo the watch, which will delay the shipping time and everything [editor’s note: We do NOT like being delayed]. One thing that I really respect and admire about Modify is their [editor’s note: “our”, Amy Lau, “our”. You’re on the team dude!] awesome customer service. Everything just seems so personal with Modify, and their our main goal is to satisfy each and every customer. Anyways, just understand that Modify is the best place to work and I am so happy and love being an intern for this team:) Not Dust, though. I hate Dust.
